The basics:
- Pay: up to £40,000
- Shift/hours: Monday to Thursday flex start times between 7am and 8am and finishing at 4pm or 5pm - early finish Fridays 12:00 or 12:30.
- Location: near Heanor

Overview: Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a Heat Treatment Operator to join the business. You will be working closely within the quality function of the business running the furnace and heat treatment department and actively working within the quality function of the business.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Manage the NDT/heat treatment processes
- Maintain and improve quality systems to meet AS9100, ISO14001, NADCAP and customer requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and zero-defect culture through audits, KPIs, Walk the Floor routines, and lean initiatives
- Support manufacturing and NPI by identifying, resolving, and preventing quality issues using robust control tools (PFMEA, PPAP)
- Collaborate with and develop teams to achieve quality, cost and delivery
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques for metal components
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP.
- Knowledge of Process flow charts PFMEA & PPAP.
- Previous experience working within heat treatment
