Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Nicholas Associates Position: Head of Supply Chain Location: Schleswig-Holstein with European travel Hybrid: Yes Working Language: English – CVs must be presented in English Working with a major healthcare organisation, this role will see you taking the lead for all supply chain operations in EMEA. The organisation is part of a £300 million+ group which is in a period of rapid growth and expansion. You will be responsible for building a team to optimise the delivery of the supply chain across multiple locations in the region, including strategic planning, managing logistics, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective processes. Areas of focus include: Commercial Product Distribution Market Collaboration – tailoring distribution strategies to meet market needs Performance Monitoring – measuring supply chain performance and implementing improvements Strategic Planning – developing and executing supply chain strategies for EMEA Procurement Management – sourcing, supplier selection, and negotiations Purchasing Reviews – conducting supplier cost reviews for cost efficiency and margin maximization Team Leadership – building and leading a high-performing team Compliance and Sustainability – ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting sustainability targets Site Management – providing strategic leadership across all sites in EMEA Customer Service Support – leading the customer service teams in EMEA About You: Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field Knowledge of EMEA market and regulatory requirements Healthcare product experience is advantageous Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with supply chain software Full UK/EU driving license and ability to travel internationally Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing Industries Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Health and Human Services, Retail Health and Personal Care Products Referrals can double your chances of interview success at Nicholas Associates.
