The Basics:

Overview: We now require a Bench Fitter to join the assembly division. As the Bench Fitter you will be tasked to assemble precision engineered small fabrication components - using hand tools, reading engineering drawings, working with measuring tools such as verniers etc.
Duties:
- Assemble new parts using solid rivets with hand and air riveting tools
- Use air tools (drills, rivet press, rivet guns) and a range of hand tools
- Adjust and assemble sheet metal components
- Apply sealants as required
- Inspect completed products visually for quality and compliance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Use Vernier callipers and specialist measuring equipment
- Work with various materials and surface finishes
- Finish precision-engineered components to a high standard
