Team size/structure: working in the design team that consists of 5 design engineers and reporting to the Engineering Director.
Overview: We now require an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufactures bespoke automated machinery. You will be working in a first-class engineering environment that has processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes also. As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from start to finish.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working with Solidworks
- Previous experience designing automated machinery
- Educated to degree level in design, engineering or similar
Commutable from: Castle Donington, Derby, Loughborough, Long Eaton and surrounding areas.
