Key responsibilities of the Engineering Stores Person role:

  • Plan maintenance activities for the engineers - ensure spares and kits are available and ready for the maintenance and engineering team
  • Organisation of contractors on site - ensure health and safety is adhered to
  • Order spares and parts - ownership and management of stores (Maintenance stores)
  • Book in jobs for the department
  • Manage and take ownership of the CMMS system
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager setting up the Engineering stores from scratch utilising the company's SAP system

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Previous experience working with SAP software
  • Competent at setting up an engineering stores / maintenance stores - parts/spare parts etc.

Overview: Working for a large manufacturing business that has sites across the globe, the Engineering Stores Person will be a new hire to the business working closely with the Engineering Manager to implement a maintenance/engineering stores.

Commutable from: Caerphilly, Cardiff, Blackwood, Bedwas and surrounding areas.
