The Basics:
- Location: Derby
- Shift and Pay: Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 6.00pm (48hrs – days only) £17.41 per hour / £43,475 per annum + Overtime = earnings of £46,000 and upwards achievable
- Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays
- Holidays/Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, after every 5 years’ service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days, annual pay rises negotiated yearly, pension, modern work environment, free parking, uniform.
Overview:
We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect machined and fabricated components with hand held measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment. Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following:
- Time Served Apprenticeship – beneficial
- Competent at reading engineering drawings
- Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers etc.
