The Basics: Role: CNC Machinist – Both CNC Millers and CNC Turners considered Position: Permanent Location: near Alfreton Shifts choice available: Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm) OR Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Wed (8.30pm to 7.00am) and Thurs (8.30pm to 6.00am) Contracted hours per week: 39hrs Pay rates are dependent on experience: Level 1: £17.82 per hour for days and £23.70 per hour for nights Level 2: £18.65 per hour for days and £24.80 per hour for nights Level 3: £19.47 per hour for days and £25.89 per hour for nights Level 4: £20.32 per hour for days and £27.02 per hour for nights Level 5: £21.16 per hour for days and £28.14 per hour for nights Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution. Overview: Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require CNC Machinists to join the team. The ideal candidate / CNC Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served engineering apprenticeship Previous CNC Milling experience or Turning experience – programming from drawings online at the machine beneficial. Be able to program/edit online at the machine – Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered. Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings Commutable from: Ilkeston, Ripley, Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas. Interested?
