Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Nead Middlewich

Pay: £51,000 to £54,000 DOE + OT = earnings of £63,000 and upwards achievable

Shift: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm – rotation discussed at interview)

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM’s

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served, apprentice trained or above
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  • Electrically biased / multi skilled
  • Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial

Commutable from:

Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
