We’re supporting a growing building design consultancy in Birmingham that delivers sustainable MEP and multidisciplinary projects across the commercial, residential, education, and healthcare sectors. With a strong pipeline and continued project wins, they’re now looking to bring an Associate Director to head up the Mechanical sector.

The Role

  • Lead mechanical design across HVAC, plumbing, and public health
  • Coordinate with in‑house disciplines and external consultants
  • Support project delivery, attend client meetings, and guide junior engineers
  • Ensure designs meet UK regulations and sustainable design standards

What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Chartered status or working toward CEng (CIBSE/IMechE)
  • Experience within a UK building design consultancy
  • Strong software skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IES or similar
