Role: BIM Coordinator - (MEP) Building Services Location: - Newcastle Salary - £35,000-45,000 A well‑known building services consultancy is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex MEP projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who can step straight into a digitally mature environment, coordinate multidisciplinary models, and uphold high standards of information management. Key Responsibilities Coordinate BIM models across mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) disciplines Manage model updates, clash detection, and data validation using Revit and Navisworks Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), industry standards, and internal protocols Produce and maintain federated models for design reviews and coordination meetings Support engineers and designers with BIM workflows, documentation, and best practice Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors across nationwide projects What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator within a building services or MEP consultancy Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and wider BIM tools Solid understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and digital delivery processes Ability to interpret MEP drawings and coordinate across multiple disciplines Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail‑driven approach Comfortable working independently and delivering to tight project timelines
