The Basics: Role: Laser Operator Position: Permanent Location: Nottingham - near Beeston Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Contracted hours per week: 40hrs Pay rates are dependent on experience: Up to £17 per hour - £35,360 per annum + Overtime = earnings of £40k and upwards achievable Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, company pension, onsite parking, training and career development. Overview: Working in modern, fast paced sheet metal precision fabrication business we now require a Laser Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate / Laser Operator may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings Experience with Bystronic, Trumpf, Amada or similar laser machinery Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience. Forklift licence (preferred but not essential). First Aid qualification (desirable).Commutable from: Nottingham, Long Eaton, Beeston and surrounding areas. Interested?
