Job Responsibilities
- Take on product design, development and detailing for mechanical products and components installed in capital plant.
- Conduct on‑site measurements of existing mechanical products and components.
- Transfer measurement data back to the office to create engineering and manufacturing designs and drawings.
- Travel to sites worldwide as required.
- Compose technical reports.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English; experience dealing with customers for whom English is a foreign language.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD with a main package such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge or Autodesk Inventor.
- Formal mechanical engineering qualification (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail; ability to avoid costly mistakes.
- Knowledge of material selection, heat treatment, casting, cutting, welding and machining.
