Role Overview
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll carry out both reactive and planned maintenance across a busy manufacturing site. You'll work closely with production teams to keep machinery running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical reactive maintenance and fault‑finding
- Drive board examination, fuse changes, parameter loading
- PLC fault‑finding, part replacement, and program loading
- Maintenance of AC, DC and Servo motors
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification
- Experience with extrusion machinery is desirable
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills across PLCs, motors, and control systems
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
