A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Associate to join a growing and forward-thinking building design consultancy based in Leeds. This role offers a genuine pathway to Directorship.
You will play a key role in leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to strategic business growth. This is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and commercial acumen looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the delivery of multi-sector building services projects (commercial, healthcare, education, residential) from concept through to completion.
- Oversee the technical quality of Mechanical design work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, driving team performance, professional development, and a positive working culture.
- Contribute to business development, including writing proposals, attending client meetings, and identifying new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Directors on strategic planning, operational improvement, and long-term business goals.
