Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Salary and Hours
- Salary: Up to £60,000
- Hours: 7am/8am start, finishing at 4pm/5pm Monday to Thursday, and 12:00 on Fridays
Holidays and Benefits
- Holidays: 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year including bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 1 year of continuous service
- Benefits: Occupational Sick Pay, death in service x2 salary, pension scheme
Overview
Working within a first-class precision engineering business that manufactures components using methods such as CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, and Fabrication, we now require a Supply Chain Manager to lead, own, and develop the customer and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all customers and their order book demands
- Monitor and manage the sales order books
- Identify any order book movements that could lead to obsolete stock/materials
- Work closely with Manufacturing Managers to address delivery issues promptly
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to improve service quality
- Manage the day-to-day supplier relationships and operational performance of the supply base
- Implement and oversee category/supplier strategies based on supply chain performance
- Create a high-performance culture through effective team development and performance management
- Support supply chain audits and risk management practices to mitigate risks
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, but all applications are considered individually:
- Experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or similar
- Previous leadership or management experience in a supply chain role
Location
Commutable from: Castle Donington, Derby, Loughborough, Long Eaton, and surrounding areas
