Overview
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a NDT Inspector (level 2 or above) to join the business.
Overview of responsibilities
- Perform inspection operations (DPI and visual) in full accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure all NDT equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and suitable for use.
- Conduct control checks and tests in line with procedural requirements.
- Interpret and evaluate test results against defined acceptance criteria.
- Produce work instructions for review and approval by the Level 3 engineer.
- Manage workflow effectively to meet production schedules and priorities.
- Prepare and authorise product test reports to the required standard.
- Achieve and maintain Level 2 certification in the relevant Non‑Destructive Testing method(s).
- Carry out tests and inspections to verify product conformity to customer specifications and technical definitions.
- Ensure all parts are processed according to business priorities and completed within required timelines.
The ideal candidate / NDT Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques for metal components
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP.
- Previous experience as an NDT inspector at level 2 or above
Commutable from Redditch, Alcester, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.
