Job Title: Quality Engineer – Automotive department
Salary: Up to £47000
Location: Blackwood
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Fridays 8am to 1pm (start times can flex to 7am or 9am)
Contracted hours: 40 per week

Overview
Working for a large manufacturing business that have plants across the globe we now require a Quality Engineer to join the business to ensure quality procedures for the business are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality procedures and ensure quality standards are upheld across manufacturing operations (fabrication, machining, or related processes).
Qualifications
- Manufacturing and quality experience in a fabrication, machining or special process background (desirable).
- Knowledge of common inspection equipment used in fabrication and machining (desirable).
- Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015; TS16949:2016 (beneficial).
- Knowledge of problem analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why).
Location and eligibility
Location: Bedwas, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Newport, Cardiff, Pontypridd and surrounding areas.
