The Basics:
- Position: Permanent
- Location: Pinxton
- Shifts: Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm)
- Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Thurs (8.30pm to 7.00am)
- Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
- Pay for days: £16.16 to £19.20 per hour
- Pay for nights: £21.49 to £25.53 per hour
- Earnings of £45,000 and upwards achievable
- Overtime: Paid at x1.5
Overview:
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Miller to join the 5 axis milling section.
The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served engineering apprenticeship
- Must have previous CNC Milling experience
- Be able to program/edit online at the machine
- Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial
- Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.
- Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
Commutable from: Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Ilkeston, Clay Cross and surrounding areas.
