Role: CNC Machinist - Both CNC Millers and CNC Turners considered
Position: Permanent
Location: Pinxton
Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am - 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am - 12.30pm) OR Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am - 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am - 12.30pm) rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Wed (8.30pm - 7.00am) and Thurs (8.30pm - 6.00am)
Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
Pay rates are dependent on experience: Up to £21.16 per hour for days and up to £28.14 per hour for nights
Overtime: Paid at x1.5
Overview
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require CNC Machinists to join the team. The ideal candidate / CNC Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served engineering apprenticeship
- Previous CNC Milling experience or Turning experience - programming from drawings online at the machine beneficial.
- Be able to program/edit online at the machine - Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered.
- Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Commutable from Pinxton, Ilkeston, Ripley, Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
