An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established infrastructure contractor, supporting a portfolio of civil engineering projects
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to gain exposure to major infrastructure schemes while developing their career within a supportive and growing commercial team.
The Role
You will support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including:
- Preparing applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final accounts.
- Producing monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
- Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and accounts.
- Supporting change management, risks and opportunities.
- Working closely with Project and Site Managers.
- Administering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual compliance.
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering and infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of NEC contracts and Section 278 (S278) highway infrastructure works
- Experience with sub-contract management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Strong background working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
- Strong commercial and financial management skills.
- Relevant QS qualification or equivalent experience.
