An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced

Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and well-established Building Services consultancy in Leeds.

You'll work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including healthcare, residential, industrial, commercial, and specialist developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical design of Building Services projects from concept through to completion.
  • Produce and review technical calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Proven experience within a Building Services consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services design.
  • Experience using industry-standard design software.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Chartered status, or working towards Chartership, is desirable.
