Role Overview

As part of our client\\\’s growth and continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Business Development to join the business at the Warwickshire office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and business development activities, including project management for new business.
  • Manage customer bid relationships and key contacts across purchasing, engineering, quality, and logistics.
  • Support commercial negotiations and prepare quotations for consultancy and serial production.
  • Develop and implement 12-month and 36-month sales strategies with targeted opportunities.
  • Work with engineering to align technologies with strategic vision.
  • Coordinate sales activities both domestically and with our partners in Europe.
  • Identify strategic accounts and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Lead national and regional grant and matched funding applications with partner companies.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Commercial or technical sales background.
  • Must have experience in automotive, aerospace and/or defence
  • Self-motivated with a passion for success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Commercially and numerically sound.
  • Professional and familiar with corporate environments.
