The basics:
- Position: Permanent

- Hours: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (they run 6am to 6pm and 10am to 10pm - rotation discussed at interview)
- Overtime: x1.5 Mon‑Sat and x2 on Sundays
- Holidays: 22 shifts
Overview:
We now require a maintenance engineer to join the team. Working a role where most of the faults are mechanically biased with a large emphasis on hydraulics, the ideal maintenance engineer will have previous experience working with hydraulics with some basic electrical skills beneficial - changing like for like parts etc. The role is predominantly mechanical faults, however some electrical skills beneficial.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM's.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served apprentice trained or above
- Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)
Commutable from Sandbach, Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
