Are you a Controls Engineer who wants to work a Monday to Friday days based role focused on automated systems and control processes for a large scale, global manufacturing company? If so, then please read on.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Environment: Manufacturing

Hours: Mon-Fri (8.00am-4.30pm)

Pay: Up to £60,000 DOE

Holidays & Pensions: 25 + 8 Bank Holidays, Company pay up to 5% pension

Overview:

Working for a company with manufacturing facilities located across the globe, you will be working in an automated production environment for a well-known brand within their respective field. The Controls Engineer will be tasked to ensure that the manufacturing facility runs smoothly and working within the engineering team to provide high level knowledge and experience of automated systems and control processes used in operations.

Key responsibilities of the Controls Engineer role:

  • Design & Program: Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimize: Analyse control systems to identify issues and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.

The ideal candidate / Controls Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (preferred)
  • Strong experience in PLC programming & HMI development
  • Previous experience working with Siemens or B&R desirable
  • Previous experience working as a Controls / Automation Engineer

Commutable from: Leominster, Ludlow, Hereford, Ledbury, Worcester and surrounding areas.
