The Basics:
- Position: Permanent
- Location: Wickford
- Basic salary: £23.71 per hour / £48,083 per annum + overtime = earnings of £53,000 and upwards achievable.
- Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.00pm to 4.00am) and Fridays (2.30pm to 7.30pm)
- Holidays and Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays. Employee Contribution - 5%, Annual pay rise negotiated each year.
Overview:
We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect fabricated and machined components with hand held measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Competent at reading engineering drawings
- Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometres, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators) etc.
Commutable from: Wickford, Basildon, Rayleigh, Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
