The basics:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
  • Pay: £45,000 + overtime = earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable
  • Location: Maesteg
  • Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat (Day) and x2 on Sat (Night)-Sun
  • Holidays: 24 days + 8 bank holidays

Overview: Working in a modern, purpose built, clean manufacturing environment for a company that have facilities globally, we now require a maintenance engineer to join the day shift.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • To provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM's.

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Previous experience working in a mechanical role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar - maintenance and fault finding.

Commutable from: Maesteg, Port Talbot, Swansea, Llanelli, Bridgend and surrounding areas.
