The Job Role
In this job role you will be working as part of an experienced busy bodyshop team , ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standard, If you have an eye for detail and a passions for cars this could be the right role for you
- Performing tyre diagnostics (Checking tyre conditions, pressure and trend depth)
- Replacing or repairing faulty tyres
- Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs
- Complete ramp testing
- Test drive vehicles to identify performance issues and ensure repairs are successful
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and repairs completed
What do you need to be a successful Vehicle Technician
- Full UK Driving Licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars
- Light vehicle maintenance level 3
- Previous experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Mechanic
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about the motor industry
- Be able to work independently and as part of team
