Tessport is recruiting reliable and safety-focused drivers to support ferry operations, moving containers on and off Ro-Ro vessels. If you have experience driving a TUG, HGV, or Arctic vehicles, this is an excellent opportunity to step into port operations with full Ro-Ro training provided.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating TUG vehicles within the ferry terminal
  • Pushing and positioning containers onto ferries
  • Supporting Ro-Ro loading teams
  • Working safely around heavy machinery and moving vehicles

Pay & Hours

  • £17.03 per hour
  • Paid 7.5 hours per shift (30-minute unpaid break)
  • 3 days per week, including some weekends
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Medical required

Typical Shift Patterns

  • Tuesday: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Saturday: 02:00 - 10:00
  • Sunday: 06:00 - 14:00

(You will work three of these shifts per week. Some flexibility may be required.)

First 3 Weeks will be Full time hours to do training and Familiarisation.

Training & Start Dates

  • Full Ro-Ro training provided.
  • Operators required by 17th August

What We're Looking For

  • Experience driving a TUG, HGV, or Arctic vehicle (essential)
  • Ability to work safely in a busy port environment
  • Reliability and willingness to work weekend shifts
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
