Stafforce Ports is recruiting 2 permanent Welders for a well-established client in Southampton, Hampshire. The business is experiencing rapid growth while maintaining a friendly, family-oriented culture.

The role includes fabrication, repair, and modification of steel and aluminium components to support ongoing maintenance and refit work.

What will you be doing in the role of Welder?

  • MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Fabrication and repair work on structural and pipework components
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out repairs both in workshop and external locations
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area
  • Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines

What will you bring to the role of Welder?

  • Previous experience in MIG/TIG
  • The ability to work to and interpret drawings
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments
  • Coding qualifications desired but not essential
  • The ability to be flexible during busy periods (Weekends and nights)
