General Labourer - Metal Preparation
Location: S25, Sheffield
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in S25, Sheffield, is looking to recruit a General Labourer to join their Metal Preparation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or metalworking environment who is looking for a stable, full-time role with immediate starts available.
The Role
Working as part of the production team, your duties may include:
- Preparing metal components for production and finishing processes
- Cleaning, grinding, sanding and deburring metal parts
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Assisting fabricators, welders and machine operators where required
- Carrying out basic quality checks on finished components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or metal preparation environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to reliably commute to the S25 Sheffield location
