Acid Shop Operator
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: Β£14.43 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - 6:00am to 2:00pm / 2:00pm to 10:00pm (Monday to Friday) with early finishes on Fridays (6-hour shifts).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate acid processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload components onto production lines.
- Monitor chemical levels, process times and temperatures.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping within the department.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including COSHH requirements.
- Report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
What We\'re Looking For
- Previous experience within manufacturing, metal finishing, chemical processing or a similar industrial environment.
- A strong focus on health & safety and quality.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions.
- FLT experience or a licence is advantageous.
- First Aid or Fire Marshal experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
