- Straightened steel top hat bars weighing up to 800kg using overhead cranes and hydraulic presses.
- Operated shot blasting machinery, moved steel using forklifts, side-loaders and cranes, and loaded/unloaded lorry trailers while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating overhead cranes and hydraulic presses.
- Operating a straightening press.
- Operated shot blasting machinery to clean and prepare steel products to a high-quality finish.
- Moved steel throughout the workshop using forklifts, side-loaders, and overhead cranes.
- Loaded and unloaded lorry trailers safely and efficiently.
- Followed health and safety procedures while handling heavy steel products and operating plant equipment.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and side-loaders safely.
- Experience handling heavy steel products up to 800kg.
