We are currently recruiting for a Part‑Time Chef / Cook to join a residential home based in Kings Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part‑time role working 3 days per week, including bank holidays and alternate weekends.

Working Hours and Pay

  • 3 days per week
  • 7:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • Flexible days, including bank holidays and alternate weekends
  • £12.90 per hour weekdays
  • £13.40 per hour weekends

As the Chef / Cook, you will be the Kitchen Lead and will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, ensuring residents receive fresh, nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating varied menus using fresh produce
  • Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
  • Leading the daily running of the kitchen
  • Always maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and compliant with regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
  • Ability to work independently and manage the kitchen effectively
  • A strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends and bank holidays
  • Willingness to provide a DBS check
