Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Port Administration Assistant to support daily operations at the port. The primary responsibility will be managing the check-in and check-out process for drivers, ensuring accurate records and smooth coordination of vehicle movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking drivers in and out of the port.
- Recording and maintaining accurate entry and exit information.
- Verifying driver and vehicle details where required.
- Communicating clearly with drivers and relevant operational teams.
- Ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Supporting general administrative tasks related to port operations when required.
Requirements
- Previous administration or logistics experience is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work early morning and late afternoon shifts.
- Good communication skills when dealing with drivers and operational staff.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
Additional Information
The role is initially a temporary assignment running until the end of May. There is potential for a permanent opportunity following the assignment based on performance and business needs.
