We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our busy recycling site in Middlesbrough. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment, requiring someone reliable, safety‑focused, and confident operating heavy machinery.

Hours: 17:45 - 06:15, Tuesday evening through to Saturday morning

Requirements:

  • Valid NPORS Loading Shovel Ticket or equivalent qualification
  • Must be able to drive due to site location
  • Previous experience on a recycling or waste management site is preferred
  • Strong awareness of site safety and operational procedures

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operating the loading shovel safely and efficiently
  • Moving, loading, and managing recyclable materials
  • Supporting site operations and maintaining housekeeping standards
  • Working as part of a busy team to meet site targets
