Nicholas Associates are working with an exciting and innovative civil engineering company, who offer a refreshing approach to the work they do. They are seeking an experienced Customer Care Manager to lead their Customer Care team and ensure remedial issues are handled efficiently and effectively. The Customer Care Manager will oversee all post-handover remedial works, acting as the key link between the client, site teams, subcontractors, and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the groundworks customer care function for new-build housing estates post-handover
- Receive, log, and assess remedial requests relating to drainage, roads, footpaths, levels, and external works
- Liaise with clients, site management, engineers, and subcontractors to agree scope and responsibility
- Coordinate remedial works and monitor progress through to completion
- Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required standard
- Maintain accurate records
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and warranty obligations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer care, aftercare, or defects role within groundworks, civil engineering, or housing infrastructure
- Strong technical understanding of groundworks and external works
- Confident communicator able to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Comfortable working closely with operational and commercial teams
