We are currently recruiting for
Laser and Forming Operators for our client based in Loughborough.
Salary
£13.45-£15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Rotating weekly shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm | 37.5-hour working week | Overtime paid at enhanced rates
Laser and Forming Operators , you will operate the laser cutting and punching machines to produce precision metal components.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and set up laser cutting and punching machines according to product specifications.
- Program and adjust machine settings, including speed, power, and tooling, to achieve precise measurements and shapes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance department.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
Experience
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of machine operation and tooling.
