We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team, to complete daily deliveries. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily deliveries
- Load and unload goods safely, using appropriate equipment where required
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
- Maintain accurate delivery notes and paperwork
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and road‐safe at all times
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van‐driving is beneficial but not essential
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Good physical fitness - some manual handling involved
- Strong time‐management and reliability
- Positive, customer‐focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Pay £12.21 per hour basic rate
£1.02 bonus per hour worked paid weekly which is achieved through attendance, scanning rate and driving performance i.e. no speeding, use of mobile phone etc.
