Working in partnership with a waste management company in Hull, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Industrial Service Operative with a valid CCNSG safety passport. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers a great pay rate (£14.25/hr) and overtime paid at even better premium rates (up to £28.25ph).
Shift pattern / Working hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm - with plenty of overtime available.
Start date / Duration: The Industrial Service Operative role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect; however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. Once you have completed 12 weeks of work, you will be offered a permanent placement.
Job description: As an Industrial Service Operative, you will carry out industrial service operations to high standards within a variety of different settings. Day to day you will be expected to:
- Carry out general site cleaning, plant cleaning, repairs and maintenance.
- Work in confined spaces carrying out tank cleans or sewer cleaning with full breathing apparatus.
- Carry out high pressure water jetting techniques.
- Cold cutting using specialist hydro-cutting equipment.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
The successful candidate: To be considered for the position of Industrial Service Operative, we are ideally looking for candidates that have the below certifications:
- CCNSG safety certificate/passport.
- Confined Spaces High Risk.
- High pressure Water Jetting.
We will consider people without these certifications providing they meet the following criteria:
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Be able to pass a medical, to include high blood pressure, BMI.
- Willing to be clean shaven for wearing breathing apparatus.
- Be reliable with good timekeeping.
- Have a valid UK Driving license.
- Have experience working within a similar role.
