We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / Port Operatives to join a busy border control operation at Immingham Port. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable employment within the UK logistics, freight, and port operations sector.
Working at a UK Border Control Point, you will play a vital role in the inspection, handling, and processing of imported goods, ensuring all shipments meet compliance, customs, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities - Warehouse / Port Operative- Load and unload containers, trailers, and freight vehicles
- Handle goods within a fast-paced warehouse and port environment
- Assist with border inspection checks, customs procedures, and cargo processing
- Operate equipment such as pallet trucks, PPT (Pedestrian Operated Trucks), and FLT (if licensed)
- Maintain strict health & safety and compliance standards
- Support general warehouse, yard, and logistics operations
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, port, or freight handling roles
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- High attention to detail - essential for border control and compliance checks
- Flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence - desirable but not essential
- Competitive pay at £13.83 per hour
