We are recruiting for a skilled and motivated Sign Maker to join a busy and growing team based in Hull City Centre. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, able to work to their own initiative but is a great team player.
Shift pattern / Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 2:30pm
- Friday 6:30am - 1:30pm

The Sign Maker role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect; however, we will work around any notice period you may have with your current employer.
Job Description:
As a Sign Maker, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembling of a wide range of bespoke signs, including vinyl, trays, panels, and built-up lettering. Your duties will include:
- Vinyl cutting, weeding, and application
- Working with materials such as wood, metal, aluminium, acrylic, Foamex, and composite
- Operating workshop machinery and various hand tools safely
- Maintaining high standards of finish, accuracy, and cleanliness
The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Sign Maker you must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in sign making
- Have a good knowledge of vinyl application and sign production techniques
- Ability to read drawings and work from job specs
- A strong eye for detail and quality
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team

- Pay rate - starting on £12.21ph raising up to £13.50ph once fully trained
- Overtime paid at Time & ½ for the 1st hour and Double time for anything beyond 1 hour
