We're currently recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a busy waste collection team based in Penrith. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for long‑term, consistent work with an immediate start. We are open to working with those who are looking for 2-3 days a week as well as full time work.
The Role
- Operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on designated routes
- Working alongside refuse loaders to complete daily collections
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations
- Providing a professional and efficient service to the local community
- Assisting with collections where required
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning starts
- Previous refuse or waste industry experience is desirable but not essential
