About the Role
- Assist in the production of technical drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit, including plans, elevations, and construction details in line with industry standards.
- Support the development of CAD drawings from SketchUp models, surveys, and project information.
- Collaborate with team members and external consultants to produce design documentation for refurbishment and new-build projects.
- Assist in reviewing drawings and technical information to ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
- Contribute to planning, building control, and statutory approval submissions.
- Support the preparation of specifications (including NBS) and tender documentation.
- Attend site visits, surveys, and project meetings to support project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with resolving design and construction queries (RFIs).
Candidate Profile
- A recent graduate in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with an understanding of technical drawing principles.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods (academic or practical).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
- Motivated to develop professionally and work towards CIAT accreditation.
