Job Description
Forklift Driver Working in partnership with a highly prestigious food manufacturer in Grimsby (DN37) we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking forklift driver to work in the warehouse. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a word leading soup manufacturer that offers career progression, training opportunities. Reach and Counterbalance Licence are essential for this role as a forklift driver.
Bendi licence would also be advantageous. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: All roles are on a 3* Rotational shift pattern*. You will work; *Shift preferences can de discussed at interview stages* One week on 6-2pm Monday to Friday One week on 10pm-6am Sunday to Thursday One week on 2-10pm Monday to Friday .
Start date / Duration Fork lift driver positions will commence with immediate effect. This is ongoing, long-term work with the potential for permanent contracts. The job role: Working as a Fork Lift driver you will be responsible for safe operation of the forklift, basic warehouse duties, checks of the forklift before commencing your duties.
Driving of the FLT's in a busy warehouse environment Manual handling Scanning of products, and completing paperwork requiring high attention to detail. Maintaining high levels of hygiene and follow food safety guidelines. Forklift Driver position would be suitable for candidates with experience in any of the following: Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver, Counterbalance, reach.
Bendi would be beneficial What's in it for you? Pay rate – £13.00 per hour + £1.40 Shift premium for nights Overtime – after standard 37.5 hours Full time, stable work – Guaranteed full time hours. Permanent placement for the right candidates Weekly pay – every Friday.
