Overview
We are recruiting for a Finisher / Polisher to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and working to precise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Finishing and polishing metal components to a high standard
- Working with steel and other alloys to remove imperfections and achieve required finishes
- Using hand tools, polishing equipment, and machinery
- Inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
- Reading and working from engineering drawings where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finishing, polishing, or manufacturing role
- Background within a manufacturing environment (essential)
- Experience working with steel (highly desirable)
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work rotating shifts
