Position : Quality Inspector
Location : Basildon, Romford, Brentwood, Essex
Sector : Precision engineering, CNC machined components
Salary : £30,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
Hybrid : No, the role is site based 5 days per week 8 am to 4 pm
The role
- Inspection of incoming products, goods and components
- Inspection of outgoing products, goods and components
- Visual inspection
- Dimensional measurements and tolerances
- Documentation checks, and maintenance of all required records, checklists and documentation to comply with company, customer and legal requirements
- Assisting with root cause analysis of NCRs
- Support all calibration requirements
About You
- Proven experience of working as a Quality Inspector in a precision engineering / manufacturing environment is essential
- Experience of working to recognised quality standards is essential
- Experience of safety critical quality standards is very much preferred - TS16949, AS9100, ISO13485 or very similar
- ISO 2859-1 understanding beneficial
- Able to read and understand technical data including drawings, specifications etc
- Able to use metrology equipment - verniers, micrometers, Faro arm, CMM etc
- Own transport
