About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and ensuring vehicles are prepared, inspected and completed to the highest standards before handover. Working as part of a fast-paced and supportive workshop team, you will carry out pre-delivery inspections, vehicle preparation, diagnostics, quality checks and minor repairs across a range of vehicles. The role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good technical knowledge and a commitment to getting the job right first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles in line with company and manufacturer standards.
- Complete vehicle preparation work, safety checks and quality inspections before vehicles are released.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults where required.
- Carry out servicing, minor repairs, software updates and accessory fitment as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate job cards, inspection records and workshop documentation.
- Work safely and comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and professional at all times.
About You
- Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, PDI Technician, Prep Technician or Service Technician.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and confidence working on a variety of vehicles.
- High attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy vehicle preparation environment.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- MOT tester status would be an advantage but is not essential.
