The basics:
- Pay: Up to £42,000 DOE - 40hr working week. + overtime = earnings of £45,000 and upwards
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30.

Structure: This role will be working within the quality inspection department.
Overview: Are you a toolmaker who has worked with cutting tools? Do you want to use your transferable skills to work in the quality department? If so, then please read on! We now require a quality inspector to bolster the quality department, working within a team of 4 we now require someone to join the inspection department where you can utilise your tool making and cutting tool background.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Perform detailed inspection of cutting tools
- Reading engineering drawings
- Using measuring devices such as verniers, laser micrometres, Zoller measuring machinery, Helicheck measuring machinery - training can be given.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- An understanding / previous experience working with cutting tools
- Competent at reading engineering drawings
- Competent at dimensionally checking metal components.
