The Basics:

  • Role: CNC Machinist - CNC Miller
  • Position: Permanent
  • Location: Consett
  • Pay: £24.45 per hour / £51,180 per annum + overtime = earnings of £55,000 and upwards achievable
  • Hours/Shifts: 6-6 4 days on, 7 days off, 3 nights on, 4 nights off, 3 days on, 4 nights on, 3 days off - rotation
  • Contracted hours per week: 40.25hrs per week
  • Overtime: Paid at x1.5
  • Holidays/Benefits: 33 days holiday, Pension, Death in Service.

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require CNC Miller to join the team.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Previous CNC Milling experience - programming from drawings online at the machine beneficial.
  • Be able to program/edit online at the machine - Heidenhain, Mazatrol and Fanuc beneficial
  • Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Commutable from: Stanley, Dipton, Consett, Gateshead, Birtley, Durham and surrounding areas.
