Stafforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC or Manual Horizontal Borer Operator to join a well-established engineering business based in Worksop.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC or manual horizontal boring machines to produce precision-engineered components
- Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
- Set up machines, tooling, and workpieces accurately
- Machine components to tight tolerances
- Conduct quality checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
- Proven experience operating CNC or manual horizontal borers
- Strong understanding of machining processes and engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safe working practices
- 39 hours per week
- Regular day shifts
- £18 per hour
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
